Have you had a problem with a DLA application?

Please contact the practice if you have had a DLA application rejected with the reason ‘doctor is reluctant to complete a report‘. This is a mistake made by the DLA and they have aplogised. Information on Strike Day 21st June 2012

On 21 June 2012 there is to be a day of industrial action by doctors represented by the BMA. The doctors at the Barony Practidce support the action, but do not wish to disadvantage patients. The practice will be open as normal, but there will be no advance appointments and only urgent or emergency conditions will be dealt with. The doctors support this action as they feel doctors as a whole are being unfairly treated. For more information please phone the surgery on 0141 889 3732, or see the open letter also published in UK newpapers below. Continue reading

Patient Opinion

In the continuing interest of improving patient experience at the practice, we now have a page at Patient Opinion (http://www.patientopinion.org.uk/services/sgp87606) where you can leave both positive and negative comments about your experiences of the practice.

Patient Opinion is a website that gives service users and carers a way of voicing what they think of the services they receive. Your story will be handled confidentially by the non-profit service Patient Opinion. Your story may appear (without your name) on their website. Patient Opinion asks the health service to respond to the feedback you share, but does not reveal your identity.

This service is independent of the Barony Practice and the NHS. For more information about Patient Opinion and how your story is handled, visit www.patientopinion.org.uk.
