Covid19 Assessment Centre Update

Renfrewshire COVID19 Community Assessment Centre (CAC) is now up and running. NHS GGC comms has created a YouTube video explainer for patients. The link to the video is here:

From Monday 23rd March 2020, ALL COVID presentations (fever and/or continuous cough) will be directed to NHS inform website and NHS24 telephone number 111.  This will be the first point of contact for all COVID 19 related symptoms – NOT THE GP PRACTICE.

COVID 19 calls will be triaged through a NHS24 hub and patients who need to be seen will be offered appointments at a dedicated local assessment centre staffed and equipped to deal with COVID –related presentation.

We are still operating a telephone triage system for appointments at the practice according to the National Guidelines as we aim to reduce the spread of Covid 19.  What happens with the spread of virus over the next few weeks will have a huge impact on all of us in the NHS and our patients. It is imperative to adhere to the social distancing and social isolation guidelines at this time.

Please see the following website for more information on Coronavirus: https://nhsinform.scot/Coronavirus

Thank-you for your ongoing support during this challenging time.

    to 2 weeks in advance
  • Make GP on the day appointments
without speaking to a GP first
